Objective:
Achieving SDG 11: Make cities more inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable, specifically target 11. 1: By 2030, ensure access to adequate, safe, and affordable housing and basic services for all people and improve slums, is linked to the development of appropriate and sustainable financing strategies that combine innovative measures and vehicles to mobilize revenues, attract private and public finance towards climate and resilient projects and programs, enabling long-term value creation, efficient use of natural resources and transition to a low-carbon economy.
Thus, the webinar will seek to identify tools, mechanisms, and vehicles – within the LAC region -to enable innovative investments aimed at financing sustainable housing and habitat development in the face of the climate crisis.
